The main hall has benches and tables to sit around 50 comfortably. Extra chairs are available at any time and extra tables can be hired at a small charge. Electric wall heaters service the hall. These can be manually set. A wood burning fire also services the room. Dry pre-cut logs MUST be used in the fire. These are available for a nominal fee from the campsite wardens. A boot and shoe rack keep the main entrance area tidy and a kitchen hatch/serving area is available adjacent to the kitchen entrance. A door also leads off the hall into the Leaders room.

The kitchen area has good preparation space and is well ventilated. The catering gas cooker consists of two large moveable shelves within the cooker and six large gas rings. There is an upright fridge with a freezer section below. The kitchen houses a good selection of cooking utensils, pots and pans, but it is advisable to bring your own knives. An electric kettle, toaster and microwave are also available.

Two large sinks with constant hot water look out over the side entrance to the building.

The Leaders room, which is situated next to the kitchen with an entry door through to the main hall, is a great area to use for adult members. The room consists of a sitting area with chairs and coffee tables and a computer work bench which runs the width of the room and has electrical access to run computers, televisions and ameateur radio equipment.

This room has its own heater and is easy to keep clean with plenty of under desk storage.

The building itself sits next to the shower and toilet block making it ideal for either a daytime base or even a sleepover base/pack holiday base.
